Searching for caches along the route is one of the lesser-known functions available to premium users on geocaching.com. It is a bit complicated and may be incomprehensible to people who are used to using only applications for mobile devices, so we decided to explain it to you a bit. Thanks to this tool, we can search for caches along any route we take. It may simply be a journey from one city to another, or a hike through a specific area, e.g. a part of a large city. The only limits are the length of a single route, which cannot exceed 800 km (around 500 miles) and a maximum of 1,000 caches. We can access this function either through the Pocket queries tab available in the Play drop-down menu on the home page where, after clicking, a special subpage for creating Pocket Query will appear.
